On March 23, 2016 Liam Christopher Lyons was brought into this crazy world and on Thursday March 23, 2017 he turned One! I had the honor of spending his actual birthday with him & Olivia and what better place to spend a birthday than Disneyland?!
It was a super busy day at Disneyland/California Adventure, it’s like everyone knew it was Liams birthday or something…just kidding! (Spring Break is killing my Disney days lately because everyone and their mother is there, can’t wait for school spring break season to be over!) Right when we got into the park (we started in California Adventure) we needed to make sure we got him a birthday pin because knowing my aunt (his grandma) she would be upset if we didn’t! After we got his birthday pin we saw Minnie mouse (the one in the adorable flapper dress), we got some pictures with her and then headed to our first ride of the day…Monsters Inc. And if you haven’t been on the Monsters Inc. ride, you need to because it is so cute! Definitely one of my favorite rides! After Monsters Inc. headed over to The Little Mermaid ride which is also another one of my favorites! Having spent already a couple hours in California Adventure, we decided to cross over to Disneyland! Right when we got into Disneyland we went on a wild goose chase (or should I say mouse chase) to find Mickey Mouse, Liams favorite Disney character. We finally found him and got our pictures and after, we walked all the way to Adventure Land only to realize it was completely chaotic and we had enough madness for one day! On our way home we met some of our family for dinner and then that finished up our day and Liams birthday!
Here’s some pictures from our day!
NEXT UP; Liams Mickey Mouse birthday party!
The following Sunday, March 26, 2017; Liam had his actual birthday party! It was Mickey Mouse themed (have I mentioned that’s his favorite Disney character?! lol). I didn’t get very many pictures of the set up, but it was adorable! There was a “Hot Diggity Dog” hot dog bar where you could make your own hot dog/chili dog, a candy table with take home Mickey Mouse mason jars as your party favors, a taco guy (my favorite part, to be honest), a bounce house (mostly for the older kids in attendance) and two super cute Mickey Mouse cakes + cupcakes that my aunt made! The party was adorable! It was so fun to celebrate this little cutie with close friends and family.
& here are some pictures from his party!
It was a fun weekend celebrating this little bug and I can’t wait to celebrate all his birthdays to come! I love you Liam Christopher!
